05 / About & Roadmap

An engineering origin. A research direction.

AegisAI grows from a microservices security project into a research program exploring adaptive intelligence for secure distributed systems.

Project evolution

From foundation to investigation.

This timeline describes the AegisAI research/application project. The separate AegisAI-Portal website repository began in 2026.

  1. 2022

    Securing-Microservices

    The original engineering project.

  2. 2026

    An evolution into AegisAI

The repository evolved into AegisAI, expanding the focus toward adaptive authorization research.

  3. 2026 onward

    AegisAI research program

A continuing investigation of secure and resilient distributed systems.

The path ahead

Research roadmap

Research phases describe intent, not delivery dates or validated outcomes.

V0.1Implemented

Deterministic Authorization Baselines

Models A–C establish role-based, attribute-based and deterministic contextual-risk baselines.

Research PhaseIn Preparation

Hypotheses and literature analysis

Finalize the research specification and review verified literature before publishing hypotheses.

V0.2Planned Research

Behavioral Risk Research

Investigate behavioral evidence for the proposed Model D and define its evaluation conditions.

FuturePlanned Research

Closed-loop adaptive authorization and reproducible experiments

Evaluate policy-bounded adaptation and publish reproducible comparisons when supported by completed work.
